New River Gorge Bridge Day 2024. Held annually on the third saturday of october, it’s the one day when base jumpers are legally allowed to leap off the new river gorge bridge, and spectators can walk across this iconic structure. The start line adrenaline is amplified by the stunning views of the new river gorge!

Rappelling, skydiving, and more adventures abound. Us 19 north and south at the new river gorge bridge will be closed on saturday, october 19, 2024, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for bridge day 2024.
